Back to school eye exams in Grafton

The same law also requires optometrists and doctors to work to reduce or waive the cost of childhood eye exams for parents who might have difficulty paying.

Older adults have an increased risk of vision loss and some eye diseases. Routine eye exams help detect problems early so they can be treated sooner. Our optometrists provide affordable eye exams for seniors and take Medicare Part B for vision care.

Using insurance
for an eye exam
Wisconsin Vision in Grafton accepts most vision plans including VSP. Your vision insurance covers routine eye exams and may pay for part of your eyeglasses or contact lenses if needed. Flexible spending accounts can be used to pay for eye exams and eyewear.
If you have a medical condition affecting your eye health (such as pink eye, glaucoma, or macular degeneration) your medical insurance may also be billed. We’re happy to do an insurance check and explain your benefits.

Eye Exam Frequently Asked Questions
Are the standard eye exams from Wisconsin Vision cheap?
We offer affordable comprehensive eye exams for the whole family. We are always accepting new patients including children, adults, and patients with special needs. Contact the Grafton location for more specific eye exam pricing details.
Does the Grafton location accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are subject to availability around scheduled appointments. To ensure you meet with an eye doctor the same day you come in, please schedule an appointment online or contact our store today.
Is a vision screening by a pediatrician or at school the same as one done at Wisconsin Vision?
No, these are not the same as the comprehensive eye exams performed by an optometrist at Wisconsin Vision. These will not detect eye problems or provide treatment solutions since they are not thorough enough. Our pediatric eye exams are performed by licensed optometrists, not technicians. Contact us today to schedule your child’s eye exam, or make an appointment online.
What should I have prepared to bring to my child’s first eye exam?
You will be asked about your child’s medical history before the first eye exam. You will need to provide the eye doctor with the following information: medications, medical conditions, allergies, family medical history and your child’s primary care physician. Bring your child’s glasses or contact lenses with you to the appointment if they wear them already.
Does Wisconsin Vision’s Grafton location offer Telehealth services?
We are working on implementing Telehealth capabilities at all our Wisconsin Vision locations. Unfortunately, our Grafton location does not yet offer Telehealth eye exams.
