Eye Exam Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during an eye exam at Wisconsin Vision?

Our affordable eye exams include all the necessary tests for a comprehensive eye exam. These may include vision testing, refraction, keratometry, eye movement tests, contact lens exams (if needed), dilation and tonometry. Contact the Sheboygan eye care center for more specific eye exam pricing details.

Does the Sheboygan location accept walk-in appointments?

Patients that walk in are subject to availability around scheduled appointments. To ensure you see an eye doctor the same day you come to the store, we recommend scheduling an appointment online.

What does a pediatric eye exam cost without insurance?

Wisconsin Vision offers many affordable promotional prices to those without insurance. For specific details on the cost of a kid’s eye exam at Wisconsin Vision, contact our Sheboygan location today.

Can Optomap retinal scans replace dilation in kids’ eye exams?

The Opto system gives us the ability to see a 200-degree field of the back of your child’s eye. This process does not necessarily replace the dilation process, however. If something is seen by the eye doctor that needs to be examined more closely, a dilated eye exam may be required for further evaluation.

Does Wisconsin Vision’s Sheboygan location offer Telehealth services?

We are working on implementing Telehealth capabilities at all our Wisconsin Vision locations. Unfortunately, our Sheboygan location does not yet offer Telehealth eye exams.
