Since 1979 Wisconsin Vision and Heartland Vision have been endorsed by over 550 labor unions throughout the Midwest region. In 1998 Wisconsin Vision opened its first location outside of the State of Wisconsin in Fort Wayne, IN. This center was opened primarily at the request of the membership of UAW Local 2209. Today, Heartland Vision has six locations.

We are very proud to be a union shop optical provider signed to collective bargaining agreements with various UFCW Locals. Our attention to detail as well as our professional services and high quality products have earned us the continuous endorsement and support of labor unions over the years.

Wisconsin Vision and Heartland Vision are full service vision care providers. We are not an insurance company or HMO. We will tailor a vision care program for your local union, based on your individual insurance plan. Wisconsin Vision/Heartland Vision have even opened numerous vision care centers around the membership of a local union.

If your membership has no vision insurance your union affiliation will entitle your membership to a discount off our already competitive services and product fees. Do not be fooled by some of the other vision discount programs that are offered with ridiculous discounts. We offer quality name brand products, including one of the largest selections of designer frames, at very competitive prices in a union shop!
